Gibson Jigjiga School successfully conducted its inaugural Parent Orientation Program on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the esteemed Lotus Hotel hall. This event marked the commencement of the 2023/2024 academic year for our esteemed institution.

The program commenced with an opening speech by Dr. Abdulnasir Ahmed, the esteemed Founder and first President of Jigjiga University. Dr. Ahmed expressed his profound delight in witnessing the expansion of Gibson Schools beyond Addis to serve the Jigjiga Community. Following this, the school administrators introduced themselves to the parents, who expressed their satisfaction in entrusting their children to a school renowned for its exceptional reputation.

The orientation program primarily focused on acquainting parents with the school’s rules, regulations, and expectations. Key areas of discussion included the school uniform, tips for parents of kindergarten students, parental controls, and effective communication channels such as e-communication. By addressing these crucial aspects, parents were empowered to adequately prepare for the upcoming academic year.

The program concluded with a dedicated session to address any queries or concerns raised by the parents. This interactive approach ensured that all doubts were resolved, leaving parents feeling reassured and confident in their decision to entrust their children’s education to Gibson Jigjiga School.
