Gibson School Systems is accredited by the Ethiopian Ministry of Education. The school follows the Ethiopian National Curriculum which culminates with students taking the Grade 12 University Entrance Exam.
We aim to prepare Ethiopian citizens who can live and work in harmony not just at home but also internationally. As such we
endeavor to strengthen students’ skills by offering additional courses that prepare them for international standardized tests.
Upon completion of all required school courses,
students graduate and are awarded a High School Diploma by the school.

Gibson School Systems was founded in 2000 by Dr. Leea Gibson and Mr. Mohammed Aden. Dr. Leea Gibson is an American who came to Ethiopia in 1998 G.C. to join her family and contribute to the quality of education in Africa. Dr. Leea Gibson is a holder of the Ed. D (Doctorate of Education) in Educational Leadership.
Mr. Mohammed Aden is a proud Ethiopian businessman who operates successfully in various sectors in Ethiopia. He has a master’s degree in Economics.
